Glow In The Dark / Theme Parks was my first attempt at hosting a rally.
I also hosted it alone, because I don't know of anyone else in the third largest US city
who wants to do something this insane.
I wanted a low-cost rally where people could have fun riding around Illinois.
Unfortunately, as is common the first time someone takes on something new,
I made a bunch of mistakes. There were many things that didn't go the way I planned.
Still, in the end, I was happy with the result.
Every rider had the same chance. If an error made things difficult for one rider,
it made things difficult for all. No one was injured, and I thought everyone enjoyed it.
Thanks to everyone who rode, whether you complained or not. Putting on a rally, like endurance riding, is stressful and exhausting.
It is, also like endurance riding, a lot of fun.
